BADA - Case Study
Brief
BADA has been in existence since the mid 1980s as the UK hi-fi industry’s trade association. Its mission is to bring together the manufacturers, retailers, media to work for the benefit of the industry and ultimately bring good value and expertise to the consumers.
The BADA board asked redsheep to refresh the Association’s identity and bring improvements to the communications activities.
Tactics
redsheep produced a new corporate identity for BADA, which provides a recognisable link to the previous identity to maintain continuity, whilst at the same time portraying a dynamic re-invigoration of the Association’s mission and activities in the UK market. To launch the new identity, BADA took part in a leading industry exhibition, where the new look was unveiled. To coincide with the identity launch, redsheep put in place new communications mechanisms, including managing the creation of a new website and engaging social media tools to extend the reach of the Association to new markets. redsheep has an ongoing commitment to run the Association’s social media and web activities.
Results
- Overwhelmingly positive comments about the new identity from visitors to the industry exhibition
- High numbers of followers of BADA’s social media activities
- Coverage in the industry trade publications for the launch of the new website
- Increased enquiries from potential new members of the association
