Russ Andrews Accessories launches two Special Edition Anniversary PowerBlocks
Building on the original PowerBlock and retaining the high performance sockets, fire resistant high-impact casework and MegaClamp spike protection, the silver anniversary Special Editions are enhanced with the addition of Kimber Hyper-pure woven silver cabling. Four of the eight sockets, originally wired with Hyper-pure copper, are now wired using the silver cable for the connection of key components such as turntables, CD players and pre-amps.
The sockets are pre-treated with DeoxIT contact cleaner and are arranged in an inverted configuration to enable easier connection of mains leads, alleviating excessive bending of the cable due to its proximity to the floor. A 16 amp input socket enables the user to fit a mains cable of their choice and a separate earth terminal provides for improved system grounding.
The Special Edition Ultra PurifierBlock takes all the features and performance benefits of the PowerBlock, with its silver cable and adds the Ultra Purifier technology for mains noise filtration. Both models can also be supplied with an optional ClarityMains enhancer built in and can be deep cryogenic treated (DCT) before shipping.
